Poster Design: Presenting Your Work in a Succinct Format Get ready for RURS with a workshop for undergraduate students that focuses on implementing poster design elements that will best highlight scientific research. November 6, 2009 1:00-2:00 p.m. Workshop participants will learn how to Communicate research results and significance in a succinct format Enhance a reader’s comprehension by following poster design guidelines Focus a reader’s attention by using visual elements Eliminate slow-to-read text-heavy sections Use a poster as a tool during presentation of their research.
